Informal communications

Informal communications set the occasion for discussion and experience return. They are the occasion to present recent work, new and not-evaluated-yet ideas or to opinions leading to debates; they can also serve as a starting point for debates. They will be published within the informal proceedings of the HCI’2008 Conference.

Three forms of informal communications are suggested this year:
a) submissions of scientific papers and position papers: from 2 to 4 pages - presentation: poster.
b) submissions of project presentations in the field of HCI, either completed or on progress: from 1 to 2 pages - presentation: poster ;
c) submissions of informal demos: from 1 to 2 pages - presentation : demo.

Important dates

Deadline for submissions: Monday June 2nd 2008
Notifications to the authors: Monday June 16rd 2008
Deadline for sending the final versions: Monday 30th 2008

Instructions for the authors

Informal communications must follow the Conference format (except that there is no need to leave a space for the copyright mention) and be ready to print (since there will be no time left for corrections after their being accepted).
